The Tanner de Melo Institute pays tribute to a visionary whose influence shaped Aparecida de Goiânia. A politician, poet, and musician, Tanner de Melo was instrumental in the city's transformation, which today is the second most populous in Goiás. The exhibition project, developed by Straub Design, offers a journey through the Goiás cerrado, ancient traditions, and the urbanization that shaped Aparecida. With an inclusive and interactive approach, the exhibition connects past and present in the construction of local identity.

”The design and exhibition project was conceived to bring a contemporary perspective to the museum and provide a memorable and emotional experience for visitors.”

Straub structured the ITAME into eight thematic axes that outline the history of Aparecida de Goiânia, with Tanner de Melo as the central figure. The ox cart, a central symbolic element, illustrates movement, faith, commerce, and regional development. The exhibition combines technology, art, and interactivity to offer a dynamic view of history, connecting the past and local memory with contemporary perspectives.
